Additional Details
Hesed House has over four decades of providing services. With the help of more than 7,500 volunteers, professional staff, and alliances with outside agencies, over a thousand people are served through Hesed House’s shelter and three housing programs annually. As the area’s largest Comprehensive Homeless Resource Center, people receive support related to housing, support systems, life skills, legal issues, physical/emotional abuse, mental/physical health, and much more.
Representing over 90 area churches, businesses, and service organizations, these groups are a special part of the organization’s fabric. They help provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and they share hope for those experiencing homelessness every year. Hesed House is a comprehensive center that addresses homelessness by providing a range of critical services under one roof. From emergency shelter that offers immediate relief to those in need, to transitional and permanent housing options that foster longer-term stability, Hesed House is dedicated to holistic care. Alongside housing, they provide educational programs, employment training, health care services, and case management, all designed to support the complex needs of the community.
