Additional Details
For over 95 years, Wayside Cross Ministries has been a beacon of hope, offering restoration, recovery, and transitional housing for the impoverished, addicted, and abused. Catering to men, women, and children, it serves as a transformative space where individuals can make fresh starts and embark on a path to recovery. The services extend across six critical areas of life transformation: a Bible-based recovery program tailored for men struggling with addiction and brokenness; a safe haven for abused and addicted women and their children; personalized care for the chronically or marginally homeless; a prison ministry that provides spiritual care, teaches parental responsibilities, supports family reconnections, and facilitates transition after release; an afterschool program for at-risk youth that includes recreational and educational activities; and a transitional work program that fosters teamwork and individual responsibility through community service.
In addition to these rehabilitation services, Wayside Cross Ministries actively involves participants in various community service projects. This engagement not only enhances their sense of responsibility but also aids in their reintegration into society. Rooted in Christian values, the ministry emphasizes holistic support, focusing on physical, emotional, and spiritual growth opportunities for all individuals it serves.
